Teacher Appreciation Events
Celebrating our incredible teachers and staff is one of the highlights of our PTSA programs! Throughout the year, we host breakfasts, lunches, ice cream socials, and other thoughtful events to show our heartfelt appreciation for the dedication, care, and commitment the DNHS staff brings to our students every day.
Therapy Dogs
To help reduce stress during finals, therapy dogs are brought to campus to provide comfort, connection, and a calming presence for students. It’s a student favorite and a great way to support emotional well-being during high-stress weeks.
Red Ribbon Week
Red Ribbon Week is a national awareness campaign observed each October to promote education and prevention around alcohol, tobacco, drug use, and violence. The PTSA supports schoolwide activities to help students make healthy choices.
December Gift Drive
Each year, this program supports PUSD families in need during the holiday season. With donations of gift cards and essential items, we help bring a little extra brightness and relief to families facing financial challenges. Thank you for helping us spread kindness and care!
Senior Scholarships
The Del Norte PTSA is proud to offer two $1,000 scholarships to graduating seniors! These awards are intended to support students in their continued education beyond high school. Applications will open in April, stay tuned for more information and deadlines!
Character Counts
At Del Norte High School, students are recognized throughout the year for demonstrating outstanding character, a positive attitude, and meaningful contributions in the classroom. Honorees are nominated by teachers and staff as part of our commitment to celebrating values that go beyond academics.
Caps and Gowns for Grads
